Hi guys,
I am chuffed we have a distributor in RSA now and my wish list is going in soon.
Hi guys
I am new at this site and TrainZ yet to get my copy.
The models are looking really great well done.
How may polly’s have gone into these creations if I may ask?
Thanks
Thx Saloco – it depends on which loco you are looking at but the poly count is high on some of them but it is just for us to get decent normal maps. die 6E het so 240K gevat maar die sim een is af na 90k
Die Lokomotiewe is uitstekend en baie mooi gedoen. Are you using Photoshop for your normal maps or are you using 3DSMAX to generate the normal maps. I normally use PS to create my normal maps straight off my existing textures, without creating a High Rez model.
I’m still new to creating 3D models, thus my questions to find out how you all create your models and textures.
Thanks
We use both – Max and PS – it is easier to create normal maps from a hih poly model than doing it in PS – It may not be the best method or that works for everyone but we prefer high poly models and baking our normals..
Thanks guys really like you work
Could the esimated release date of these items be updated?
Thanks
Hi,
I’m new to this forum.
I bought Trainz 12 last week and had experienced glitch with the installation. I contacted RSA Trainz and within 2 days a replacement set of CDs were hand-delivered to me. The installation ran without any problems.
Just wanted to thank RSATrainz for the sterling service received todate!
Keep up the good work!
Best,
Shabir
Looking forward to buying some South African steam locos. The only loco I’ve made is a Queensland Railways 1400 class 3’6″ GM from 1955. I keep working away at this now around 80% finished. Would have been finished a fair while ago, except I keep getting sidetracked making buildings. All these items are made in GMax for my home state Queensland, Australia. New to this forum.
Cheers from Oz, Will
I bought 2 of your locos due to be released on 21st of December. Now on the 24th they are still listed as pre order and no release date mentioned. After announcing on Trainz Forum a release date, now that has passed, I think it is only fair to customers to explain why these locos are now not available.
Cheers Will
Dear Valued Customer
Apologies for the delay in the delivery of your order. The company supplying the serial numbers and anti-copying protection is experiencing some server problems.
We are currently looking at alternatives, as you would appreciate that we cannot release our content without serial numbers or any type of copy protection, because if we do that it would be unfair to you, our valued customer.
Because of this delay, and to compensate you, our valued customer, we will add a free wagon to every locomotive that you have ordered.
We anticipate to resolve the security issues by the 1st of January 2013.
We will appreciate your patience and understanding in this matter, but should you rather prefer to get your money back, we will gladly refund you.
Happy Holidays
RSA Team
